Join us on Friday, October 4, 2019 to celebrate our year of parks! Parks & People will host its 9th annual fundraiser, Picnic in the Park, on our 9-acre LEED Platinum campus in West Baltimore. This high-energy event brings together a diverse group of over 450 attendees representing Baltimore's premier business leaders, public officials, park lovers and philanthropists to support Parks & People. This year, Maryland’s First Lady, Yumi Hogan, will be accepting the 2019 Sally Michel Award for her visionary work with Parks & People on the Natural Dye Initiative. The evening begins on our green roof at 6:00pm with cocktails and live music by Cara Kelly, food by Pantry Catering & Events, followed by a seated dinner and brief program amid beautiful open parkland. The evening ends with delicious desserts and dancing. Dress: casual chic.
